Absolute Beginners Pilates Workshop
Thursday 12 June | 6.30 to 8.00pm | Bronleigh House | £25
“Where strength meets softness and something new begins”
This workshop is for the absolute beginner
For the curious
For the cautious
For the ones ready to begin something new
This is more than a Pilates class.
It’s a meeting of two worlds.
Debbie, founder of Yoga Junkie, brings more than movement to the mat. With a background in yoga, somatic practice, sound healing and emotional recovery, her work is intuitive, grounded and rooted in real life. She doesn’t just teach bodies; she listens to them. Known for her fiery flows and restorative practices in equal measure, Debbie is as strong as she is soft. Yoga Junkie is more than a name; it’s a movement, a space where women come home to themselves. Through breath, yoga, and the healing power of sound, delivered in a voice often described as velvet, Debbie has supported thousands to navigate life with more meaning and connection. She’s a guide, a steady calm in the storm, and a quiet revolution in the wellness world.
Meet Sophie, the powerhouse behind Compound Training Club and Revive Wellness Club. Known for her hybrid training style, holistic wellness support, and deep knowledge of functional movement, Sophie brings a grounded, intelligent approach to strength and recovery. Her teaching blends clarity and compassion, where strength meets softness to help clients build total-body resilience through intentional, Pilates-informed movement. Since the birth of her daughter, taking the time to rebuild strength from the inside out has been a gamechanger, shaping not just her body, but the way she guides others to move, feel, and thrive.
Together we’re creating something fresh. Something rooted in form, but led by feeling. A class where softness and strength meet. Where Pilates becomes a tool to reconnect with your body in a safe, kind and empowering way
This is the first of many steps. A starting point. And it’s going to be something special.
In this session you’ll learn the foundations of mat-based Pilates. Core engagement. Breath awareness. Safe alignment. You’ll leave with knowledge, confidence and the sense that you’ve started something good.
Whether you’re brand new to movement, easing your way back after injury or birth, or simply want a class that meets you right where you are, this is for you.
Bronleigh House is home to our sessions. It’s easy to access, with parking onsite and level entry. The first floor studio is light and airy, with a beautiful wooden floor, stretchy ceiling and a state-of-the-art feel that invites movement, focus and calm.
