THIS IS NOT JUST A CLASS

It’s a place to land, to soften, to reconnect. Here, movement becomes medicine. Sound becomes stillness. Strength becomes softness. Whether it’s your first time on the mat or your hundredth, this space will meet you gently, with intention and care.

Every session is designed to support your nervous system, not your performance.
From dynamic reformer flows to grounding yoga and restorative sound, this is movement that meets you where you are, and guides you where you’re ready to go.

SOUND

Lie down. Let go. Let the sound do the rest.

SOUND is our two-hour sound bath at Yoga Junkie HQ — gongs, bowls and voice moving through the room while you're held, gently, off the floor in a hammock. There's nothing to get right here. No experience needed, no flexibility required, no belief in anything at all. You just have to show up and let yourself be still.

This autumn: SOUND with Kirstie

For six weeks this autumn, SOUND is in different hands - hands that have spent thirty years learning exactly what sound can do to a room.

Kirstie Roberts has supported Sir Brian May and Sir Roger Taylor of Queen, Tico Torres of Bon Jovi, Ronan Keating, Kerry Ellis, Beverly Knight MBE, Don Felder of the Eagles, Shakin Stevens, Billy Ocean and Lulu. She spent years in the late Sir Terry Wogan's house band on BBC Radio 2, and today she's the vocal coach shaping the voices on Y Llais. Twenty-seven years teaching voice - in schools, in universities, in choirs full of people who didn't know they could sing until she showed them they could.

All of that - the stages, the studios, the decades of listening for the note underneath the note - she now brings to a room with the lights down, where nobody is performing at all.

"What all of that taught me is that sound does something to the body long before it means anything to the mind. You feel a note before you understand it. That's what a sound bath works with."

Kirstie is also a Reiki practitioner - which is where the energetic side of her work sits - and a very proud mam to her ten-year-old son.

From 2 September to 14 October, every Wednesday, Kirstie holds SOUND on the studio floor: 90 minutes, no hammocks, gongs and bowls and tuning forks and that voice. Because the session is shorter, the drop-in price drops with it, to £30 - not included in membership.

"You do not sing, perform or do anything at all in a sound bath. You lie down and let the sound move through you. That is the whole of it."

SOUND returns to Debbie and the hammocks from 21 October.

Mums Movement

Six Wednesdays from 9 September

For once, mum comes first.

This is a workshop style class where your baby is genuinely welcome, and you are the focus. Not the person fitting herself around everyone else for an hour. You.

Week one incldes an open hearted conversation about what you actually need right now. Where your body feels different. What you have not had a spare moment to think about since your baby arrived. Everything that follows is shaped around your answers, rather than around what we assume you wan

Across the six weeks we draw on breathwork, your core, your strength, using mobility, barre, ballet and Pilates, alongside wellness support, honest conversation and time to simply be among women who understand this season.

Class 1, birth to prewalking

Wednesdays, 11.30am to 12.30pm

Starting 9 September, six weeks

£70 for the full block

15 spaces

Class 2, walkers

Wednesdays, 12.45pm to 1.45pm

Running straight after class 1, subject to demand*

*If enough mums with little ones on the move get in touch, class 2 will run alongside the first block from 9 September. Do let us know if that is you, as numbers decide whether it goes ahead.

What to know before you book

There are no additional carers on site. Your little one remains your responsibility throughout, and that is entirely as it should be. Feed, settle, pause, begin again. Nothing here needs to look tidy or go to plan.

We start the second week after school goes back on purpose, so mums with older children have time to settle into the new routine first.

The block is booked as a whole and payment secures your space. This lets us properly resource the six weeks with a dedicated teacher and keep the group small enough that everyone is seen.

There is a beautiful bistro on site serving healthy food, so if you would like to stay on for lunch and a proper chat afterwards, you are very welcome to.

Why the block, and why it works

This format began during covid, when a group of mums had nowhere else to go. That group still meets today, years later. Every version run since has done something similar, and mums tell us the friendships are often what they value most. Six weeks with the same faces is what allows that to happen.

“THE SOUND HEALING WAS PURE MAGIC”

“I’ve never felt anything like it. The vibrations stayed with me for days. It wasn’t just calming, it was transformative.”
